Internal data from Lands of America shows appromixately $5 billion in land and rural property for sale in the Camellia State. The total size of land for sale in the state is over 652,000 acres. This represents a two percent increase from last month in the total number of land and property in Alabama for sale. Of the 67 counties in the state, Baldwin County had the most land and rural real estate for sale. Based on comps submitted through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program last month, Alabama is among the country's top five states for land sold during the month. This reflects a rise in sales activity over data from the previous month. The most land sales in the state last month were recorded in Clay, Crenshaw, and Talladega County. In terms of its size, Alabama is the country's 30th-largest state, covering an area of 52,423 square miles (34 million acres). Game species to be found on land for sale in Alabama include whitetail deer, turkey, dove, quail, ducks, and hog. Anglers have their choice of bass, catfish, trout, and pike.
